Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, Develop and Implement Enterprise level software applications that comply with firm wide architecture standards, risk management and security policies. Develop Enterprise end to end solutions with Object Oriented Programming, efficient data management and observability including Prototyping and automation. Responsible for creating and maintaining APIs to distribute data to downstream partners. Lead design reviews and approve architecture of peer developers and holds accountability for Software deployment process and stability of the applications that has less than 4 hours of Recovery time objective. Perform Java Profiling and performance tuning of inefficient SQL queries across RDBMS systems. Deliver projects assigned in a timely manner. Resolve customer issues on software product adhering to SLA, Research best practices, quick learning of leading tools and technologies. Assist in technical documentation of software product. Work collaboratively with teams across geographical locations.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, IT Consultant, Software Developer, System Engineer, or related occupation.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary:  $179,982 - $185,000 per year.
