Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description As a member of our regional solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level web and desktop applications using C#, ArcObjects, and the .Net framework. The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience in a customer-facing software engineering role with responsibility for tasks in the full software development life cycle from design to end-user support. Responsibilities + Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-level web and desktop applications using C#, ArcObjects, and the .Net framework. + Engage in the full software development life cycle from design to end-user support. + Work on applications development, object-oriented development, and GIS solutions. + Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery. Essential Skills + Proficiency in C# and .Net development. + Experience with Windows and Visual Studio. + 3+ years’ experience developing end-user applications and interfaces in a .NET development environment. + 3+ years’ experience developing end-user applications and interfaces with an object-oriented programming language. + 1+ years’ experience with commercial RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred, or a related field with a computer emphasis. + Prior experience with GIS software preferred. + Experience with ArcFM Solution software would be a plus. Work Environment This position is 100% remote and candidates can work from anywhere in the US. The initial contract is for 1-2 years with a high probability of conversion based on performance. The team currently consists of 11 full-time employees and 4 offshore contractors. The work environment supports self-sufficiency and responsibility, allowing flexibility in working from any time zone.
