Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description

This individual will be supporting manufacturing and AI/ML data infrastructure. The role involves creating AI and non-AI tools, implementing and maintaining backend solutions, and partnering with manufacturing and design engineers to inform them of any data architecture development. The first six months will focus on updating the current SQL 2017 to a new platform, for which recommendations will be required.

ResponsibilitiesCreate AI and non-AI tools.Implement and maintain backend solutions.Partner with manufacturing and design engineers for data architecture development.Update current SQL 2017 to a new platform and make recommendations for the new platform.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.Experience in database architecture.7+ years of backend software engineering experience, OR 4-5 years of backend engineering experience with a Master's Degree in Software Engineering.Proficiency in CI/CD.Experience with API development.Proficiency in Python (preferred), or other programming languages such as C++ or C#.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster's Degree in Software Engineering or a similar field.Former experience supporting a tangible product.Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of AI/ML.Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in Macedonia, OH.
