Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Description

The RD&E Software Engineering team is responsible for delivering solutions for IoT devices that develop insights to help customers be cleaner, healthier, and safer. You will work with stakeholders across the Institutional sector, developing solutions that are part of a global portfolio of products and solutions. The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of all aspects of software development and familiarity with the industrial market space is a plus.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop solutions for IoT devices as part of a global product portfolio.Collaborate with stakeholders across the Institutional sector.Assist with embedded control system software application layers.Analyze existing systems and architecture to identify weaknesses (25%).Perform software development tasks primarily in C/C++ and C# (75%).Ensure platform stability and address system deficiencies.Work on industrial boiling systems.Conduct unit testing of developed software.Essential Skills7-10 years of experience in software development.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.Proficiency in C/C++ and C#.Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers, such as STM32 and Free Scale.Strong knowledge of Linux.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with control systems, including uptime systems and high-reliability systems.Work Environment

You will work in a collaborative environment focusing on the development and stability of industrial IoT devices. The role involves working with embedded Linux on larger systems and utilizing free scale microcontrollers. The position does not require direct reports or supervision and emphasizes application-level work and platform stability analysis.
