What you will do

\n\nDesign, develop, and implement software solutions to meet business needs on our Automated Tank Gauge and related platforms.\nApply your knowledge of modern technology stacks and frameworks, such as C++, Java, Python, and others, and help the team adopt these technologies.\nContribute to developing best practices and standards for using various programming languages across our products.\nUtilize Agile methodologies to enhance team collaboration and project delivery.\nWork closely with peers, electrical and mechanical development teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to create impactful solutions.\nLearn from senior engineers and gradually mentor peers on design and coding practices, while gaining exposure to modern technologies.\n

On your first day, we will expect that you will have:

\n\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.\nFamiliarity with at least one software development life cycle approach, such as Waterfall, Agile, or Kanban.\nProficiency in one or more programming languages: C, C++, Java, NodeJS, JavaScript, or Python.\nExperience with continuous integration and automated testing technologies is advantageous.\nKnowledge of REST APIs and JSON is beneficial.\nExperience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and their associated services is a plus.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to learn and adapt to modern technologies quickly.\nBasic understanding of version control systems, such as Git.\nEnthusiasm for software development and a willingness to learn and grow in the role. \n\n

The base compensation range for this position is $88,000 to $102,000 per year. Your base salary will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
