You'll Have:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with over 2 years of experience in designing, deploying, and operating mid to large-scale public cloud environments, preferably in GCP. Professional cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer) are advantageous. Experience in Docker and Kubernetes, including image building and orchestration, and managing applications through Helm, Kustomize, and ArgoCD. At least 1 year of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like CloudBuild, Tekton, or GitHub Actions, and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Google Cloud Operations Suite. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go, and understanding of networking and security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Even Better, You May Have:

Experience in developing custom Terraform providers or plugins with Policy as Code. Strong GitHub and DevOps expertise, with Tekton experience as a plus. Proficiency in scripting and coding with Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, and Node.js. Extensive knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus, and exposure to cloud-native monitoring and logging. Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, and familiarity with cloud security best practices. A mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation in processes and technologies.

What You'll Do:

Design, automate, and manage a highly available and scalable cloud deployment for efficient service deployment by development teams. Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to identify optimal cloud solutions, focusing on scalability, performance, and security. Modernize on-premises solutions and improve existing systems, with extensive automation of deployments and management within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop and maintain cloud solutions following best practices, ensuring data storage and processing align with security policies. Work with engineering teams to identify optimization strategies and develop self-healing capabilities, while enhancing observability.
