What you'll do We are looking for a passionate software engineer with experience in designing, implementing, and operating web front end services and excel at collaborating with partners. A successful candidate will have a strong engineering background and proficiency in Javascript, React, NodeJS & exposure to data visualization & charting libraries. You enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You will help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggest ways to make the team more effective, and mentor and model engineering best practices. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Engineering Manager for Observability & Reliability tooling. Responsibility Deliver product features and technology improvements as part of a passionate agile development team working on a high impact roadmap Innovate, design and build web front ends critical to Docusign operations Write high quality code in JavaScript, Typescript, and React Write and maintain unit and functional tests for every feature Raise issues proactively that may impact delivery commitments Fix production issues and maintain the code as needed Address system issues as they relate to performance, scalability and reliability Provide direction and supervision across multiple teams to influence architectural decisions and technology selection Work cooperatively with partners to create features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency and robustness Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency Maintain and evolve the software architecture for current and future needs Stay ahead of with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. What you bring Basic B.S. in Computer Science or similar field of study 3+ years of overall software product development or experience with Cloud, SaaS, Enterprise software engineering 3+ year of experience developing JavaScript web applications Professional experience with client-side frameworks (such as React, Redux, Angular or similar modern JS frameworks) 2+ years of experience building large scale enterprise applications Hands-on, professional experience with consuming and building RESTful web-services Preferred Experience developing in React and Typescript Experience with server-side technologies like Node.js Experience implementing accessible web applications for a global audience Experience with implementing web apps using micro-front end architecture Experience working with remote teams Development methodologies that emphasize agility and detailed testing Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail Natural skills for both teaching and learning from others in a collaborative team environment Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
