In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that power cutting-edge satellite and cellular broadband communication technologies. As a key member of the team, you will help shape the future of global connectivity, working on impactful projects in a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters professional growth and innovation.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop and maintain software for satellite and cellular communication systems, from real-timecomponents to AI-driven features.• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing,and deployment.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure system performance and reliability.• Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members.• Stay updated on new technologies to improve Kymeta’s products.• Drive engineering excellence through innovation, reliability, process improvement, and teamcollaboration.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++.• Experience with real-time systems or embedded software development.• Strong focus on engineering excellence, including delivering reliable, high-quality, andmaintainable software solutions.• Proven ability to design and implement systems that prioritize performance, scalability, and reliability.• Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.BONUS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE• Knowledge of satellite communication systems, cellular technologies, or related domains.• Experience with implementing complex mathematical algorithms in software.• Experience with cloud platforms, IoT technologies, or AI/ML applications.EDUCATION• B.S. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent knowledgeand experience, M.S. preferredCOMPENSATIONKymeta is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In the spirit of pay transparency, we have determined the salary range for this position to be $90,000 - $150,000. This is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would be atypical, in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. Compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and geography. The total compensation package for this position includes an annual target bonus of 10%, stock options, and benefits listed below.
