Main responsibilities:

Developing high performance, highly available & scalable applications with a microservices architecture and an understanding of observabilityAdd to our existing services or roll out a new service to support this featureIdentify and help troubleshoot an issue affecting users in one of our many regions in the worldParticipate in defining new product requirements and design together with the product team

About you

Experience:  

Experience in scaling systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocityPractice in performing sustainable incident response and blameless postmortemsExperience working with both technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross-functional, interdisciplinary environmentExperience in the healthcare industry is a strong plus

Soft skills:

Must be a passionate communicator, willing to challenge and enhance ideas while preserving relationshipsPersonal ownership of tasks and tenacious approach to finding and fixing the root cause of issues

Technical skills:

We have a diverse stack and if you are willing to work with a microservices approach, we are open-minded about your technology preferences. You’ll have the ability to explore new technologies and strategies.

Backends: GraphQL, Node.jsWe use key components of the AWS stack: Lambda, S3, RDS, SNS and more of the core servicesFrontends: React.jsYou don’t have to be a specialist in everything but willing to learn

Education:

MS in software engineering or computer science or equivalent

Languages: English, French
