Job Title: Senior Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Software EngineerJob Description
In this role as a Senior Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Software Engineer, you will join a small, highly-focused team working to develop and maintain signal processing applications for use in a real-time operational environment. The team members are multi-disciplined and contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration, and test, working closely with operations personnel to meet unique and continuously evolving development needs. You will support, develop, deploy, and maintain DSP software, working with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment. This position offers the opportunity to learn modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques, as well as software lifecycle practices for defense projects.
Responsibilities
+ Support, develop, deploy, and maintain DSP software.
+ Work in an Agile environment with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders.
+ Contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration, and testing.
+ Collaborate closely with operations personnel to meet development needs.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
+ 2 years of relevant software engineering experience.
+ Proficiency in C++ and Python.
+ Familiarity with cloud-based software architecture and technologies.
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance.
+ U.S. citizenship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Java, Linux, CSH, BASH, and Perl.
+ Experience with X-Midas or similar Digital Signal Processing (DSP) library.
+ Experience with SIGINT or signal processing software.
+ Knowledge of DevSecOps delivery paradigm.
+ Experience with Atlassian toolset.
+ Experience with Test Automation using GitLab pipeline.
Work Environment
This position is on-site in Aurora with a flexible schedule, offering options such as 4/10s or 9/80s. You will work in a large, stable company with a great reputation for its new programs. The role requires an active TS/SCI security clearance, though there are variations for obtaining this clearance if it has been debriefed within the last 2 years, the investigation is less than 7 years old, or if you have an active DOD TS or DOE Q clearance that can be converted into TS/SCI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
