Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems (LMDS) has an exciting career opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is in Colorado Springs, CO.
Position Overview:
The selected candidate will support a growing portfolio of programs and IRADs that focus on missile defense and hypersonic technologies and will be a core contributor supporting the analysis of raw missile defense simulation outputs. Some domestic and international travel (up to 10%) may be required, dependent on program needs. This position will specifically focus on supporting the analysis of system model performance.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 2 years of related experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 0 years of related experienceApplicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.Ability and willingness to travel up-to 10% to support business needsSoftware development experience with C++ or Python programming languagesAbility to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team settingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
