Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to provide services in application development, documentation, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The role involves working with AVEVA/Wonderware’s Archestra Control System, Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications, AVEVA’s Operations, Performance and Quality MES modules, and more. You will also be responsible for data consolidation and aggregation using AVEVA’s BI Gateway, and creating data visualizations and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
Responsibilities
Develop and modify applications using AVEVA/Wonderware’s Archestra Control System.Create and maintain Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications.Work with AVEVA’s Operations, Performance, and Quality MES modules.Utilize AVEVA Work Tasks Business Process Management (BPM) software.Manage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) based on AVEVA MES modules.Consolidate and aggregate data with AVEVA’s BI Gateway.Program Rockwell PLCs to provide needed MES data and functionality.Develop Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards.Migrate SSRS and Tableau reports to Power BI.Manage data feeds to external partners using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.Administer Microsoft Server, SQL Server, and Reporting Services.Gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis.Collaborate with engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data.Create complex DAX calculations and measures for data analysis.Ensure data security and compliance with best practices.Travel up to 25% to other internal sites as required.Essential Skills
7+ years of industry experience in Controls, Automation, or MES Engineering.Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Software, or a related field.Experience with SQL server databases.Proficiency in MES or SCADA systems.Experience building reports with Power BI or similar database/software.Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year.Ability to read ladder logic.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Aveva / Wonderware.Proficiency in Power BI.Knowledge of liquid processes.Work Environment
The role can be based out of Dallas, TX or Wooster, OH. This position offers a hybrid schedule with mandatory onsite presence on Mondays and Thursdays, and remote work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. However, during onboarding/training, you will need to be onsite five days a week for shadowing purposes. Our company provides comprehensive benefits fully covered by the employer, and relocation assistance, including a lump sum amount at completion of relocation, coverage of real estate commission, and reimbursement for moving services. A sign-on bonus is also provided in the second week of employment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
