Description We are in search of a Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for designing and developing software systems to significantly improve the life insurance industry. You will be working with a team of skilled professionals in a dynamic environment, focusing on the front-end development of complex web applications. This role is a contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the team to create compelling user-facing products • Design and implement efficient front-end systems • Test the implemented systems to ensure their efficiency and reliability • Use your expertise to mentor others in the team about development technologies, tools, and processes • Develop strategies to test the software, design automation frameworks, and write tests to increase code coverage and automation metrics • Handle the complete development cycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment • Work on developing end-to-end Document Capture solutions • Use data to generate insights for product and business improvements. Requirements • Proficiency in Clojure programming language • Experience in full stack software development • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically • Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to deployment • Comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries • Ability to collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software • Demonstrated ability to manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables • Strong communication skills for team collaboration and to interpret customer requirements into application designs • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
