Software Engineer
Job Title: Software Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in C++ programming and be familiar with Linux OS. This role involves software maintenance activities, including analyzing and troubleshooting problem reports from fielded systems, incorporating software fixes into the existing software baseline, unit testing, and performing software integration and testing. Responsibilities + Analyze and troubleshoot problem reports from fielded systems + Incorporate software fixes into the existing software baseline + Perform unit testing of software components + Conduct software integration and testing + Design and develop software solutions + Utilize signal processing knowledge in software development Essential Skills + 1-3 years of professional experience with C++ programming + Proficiency in Linux OS + Experience with design, development, and unit testing + Knowledge of signal processing Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Matlab + Knowledge of CUDA + Understanding of DoD and DOM standards + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education + At least 6 months of professional work experience within software engineering Work Environment The work environment involves software maintenance activities that include troubleshooting, fixing, testing, and integrating software. You will be working with technologies such as C++, Matlab, and Linux OS. The role requires adherence to software engineering standards and may involve collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless software operation. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
