Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop, test, and debug automated tasks including applications, systems, and infrastructure. Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle to ensure sustainable software releases. Troubleshoot priority incidents and facilitate blameless post-mortems. Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions. Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns. Participate in performance tests, identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands. Participate in 24x7 support coverage as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technical Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Unix; Windows 10 or above; Agile SDLC; Microservices; J2EE; Java; Javascript; Shell Scripting; SQL; Apache Tomcat; REST; SOAP; WebSphere; Maven; JSON; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services; Dynatrace; Oracle; Splunk; GIT; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; SRE observability; monitoring services to support multi-cloud environments using tools including Prometheus; Grafana; AppDynamics.

Full-Time. Salary:  $159,700 - $185,000 per year.
