Software Engineer Advisor

HOW A SOFTWARE ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applicationsHands-on experience with application development using Java (Springboot and Maven) for web server APIsFull stack development and experience with both sending and retrieving data from Oracle and Mongo databasesFamiliarity of operations to include Git/Jenkins/Rundeck and JIRA/ConfluenceSystem administration of Centos/Linux serversAWS/C2SAbility to write short Python/Java/Bash scriptsAbility to write technical documentation for Security (ATO), architecture, and implantation guidesTeam focused, willing to develop and implement solutions in a dispersed team environmentAvailable for off-hours deployment and off-hours system repair

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Science or better in Computer Science or related field.
● Required Experience: 8 years: Related field or equivalent experience based on level
● Required Technical Skills:

Experience developing network and security solutions as they relate to data movement between system including multi-level securityFamiliar with the concepts of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and a desire to explore their application to a successful and established program.Experience with Angular TypescriptExperience with Elastic Search and relational databases

● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly

● Required Skills and Abilities:

Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platformsSuccessfully deliver on all aspects of the product lifecycle in an agile environmentCollaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analyst, project managers and other engineersAnalyze business needs and implementation approaches for high-quality deliverables
