Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Software Engineer - Automation (Multiple openings) in San Francisco, CA.

The position of Software Engineer – Automation (multiple openings) is responsible for designing and building automation test scripts. Specific duties include: (1) data and process modeling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites; (2) information and release management, and product and vendor evaluation; (3) Java VBA languages, or other configuration/scripting type technology; (4) manual and automation testing of Mobile applications; (5) perform Unit Testing including automation and integration with CI systems, as well as Agile Software Development including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe; (6) implement CI/CD solutions, including Jenkins and Maven; (7) work on automation frameworks including Selenium, Appium, Protractor, and Cucumber; (8) implement scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs; and (9) work with the following tools and technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Java, Spring Boot, Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps, Microservices, Kubernetes, and Redux.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, or Computer Science and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience designing and building automation test scripts.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) performing Unit Testing including automation and integration with CI systems, as well as Agile Software Development including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe; (2) implementing CI/CD solutions, including Jenkins and Maven; (3) working on automation frameworks including Selenium, Appium, Protractor, and Cucumber; (4) manual and automation testing of Mobile applications; and (5) working with the following tools and technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Java, Spring Boot, Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps, Microservices, Kubernetes, and Redux. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
