HealthWarehouse is seeking talented software engineers who have a passion to work with cutting-edge technologies in an innovative space to help build a world-class digital pharmacy.  This position is hybrid, and does require on-site reporting to Florence, KY at least 1x / week

As a member of the engineering team, you will work closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other engineering team members to create and maintain tools and systems that drive day-to-day ecommerce and pharmacy operations.

Essential Job Functions Write high-quality, modular, and reusable web services using Go and similar technologies Assist in integrating third-party technologies to ecommerce and pharmacy systems Collaborate with external technology teams to troubleshoot integration issues Develop and support a high-quality codebase across public-facing and internal systems, help drive design discussions, implement creative and innovative solutions to-spec Collaborate on the technical design within a cross-functional team to support the strategic objectives of the company Contribute to the analysis of the technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Optimize application performance to ensure a smooth user experience Requirements Familiarity with Go or similar languages, or similar Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or similar Experience with version control systems such as Git Experience integrating with third-party services via REST / GraphQL APIs Strong written, oral, and presentation/public speaking communication skills Ability to work in a fast, agile, and flexible environment with frequent change Life-long learning mindset – always looking to experiment and continuously improve We would also prefer the following: Container-based technologies such as Docker, Podman, or similar Experience deploying projects on major cloud providers: Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform 1+ years of hands-on experience building web-based software or including design patterns and code structure 1+ years of proven track record of designing and delivering large scale, high-quality systems
