\n RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\tCollaborate with a team of developers, testers, engineers, and product owners to design and develop robust control and industrial monitoring applications for mission-critical facilities.\n\tMaintain and improve the entire control, monitoring, and integration software stack, principally in C++ and Python.\n\tDevelop tools for testing, packaging, commissioning and system deployment (Ubuntu, Docker, …).\n\tDeliver new features from start to finish including requirements, specifications, design, and implementation.\n\tAssist operations with training and troubleshooting on new features.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\tBS in an Engineering field or Computer Science\n\tDiligent and systematic problem solver.\n\tExcellent comprehension, ability to parse specs, critical thinking.\n\tGood written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.\n\tProficiency in an object oriented programming language.\n\tWorking knowledge of Linux and open-source software.\n\tMust be able to pass a background security check, including a drug screening (where allowed).\n\nDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\tMS in an Engineering field or Computer Science\n\tEngineering control or building automation systems (course work acceptable)\n\tBinary communication protocols, memory manipulation (course work acceptable)\n\tElectronics, microcontrollers (course work acceptable)\n\tBACnet, Modbus, HVAC automation\n\tExperience with C++\n\tVirtualized environments such Docker or VMs for development and production.\n\tSoftware packaging tools such as Debian.\n\nHIRING DETAILS
