We're seeking a software data engineer to join the APX Observability Insights team. In this role you will help identify and deliver actionable insights for teams building and operating analytics pipelines for Apple. We focus on delivering innovative capabilities and anticipating future technological trends. **Description** As a member of the APX Observability Services team you will have significant responsibility and influence in discovering and delivering actionable insights for Data Engineering in Apple. This is a software engineering position processing observability data and generating actionable insights that improve efficiency and productivity for data engineering teams. - Low-latency Data Processing - Data Engineering telemetry analysis - Loading and querying Analytics Data Warehouse - Engage with users and collaborators - Multi-functional collaboration with platform and peer teams **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent related experience + 3+ years of hands-on experience building Analytics applications using Snowflake and Apache Flink or Apache Spark. + Programming experience in Java (preferred) or Scala, Python. + Experience with Big Data: Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, SQL, Kafka. + Proven skills in building Analytics applications using technologies like Snowflake, Flink. **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with big data orchestration systems like Airflow + Strong experience with container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
