Software Engineer - Device Automation

Your Impact We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of success in delivering complex cross functional projects and solutions with a passion for technology, automation, user experience and problem solving. As a Software Engineer in Device Experience, you will collaborate across the Business Units, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to analyze, design and support the implementation of end-to-end solutions that enables the best-in-class workforce experiences. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the Device Automation platform within our organization. This role requires extensive knowledge in software development and system administration. The successful candidate will ensure the optimal performance of our ServiceNow platform, enabling us to streamline our operations and provide better service to our clients. Responsibilities * Development and roll-out of modules and applications such as ServiceNow. * Collaborate with various internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements. * Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data. * Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform. * Develop software solutions and ServiceNow applications based on business needs. * Create and manage scripts and workflows within ServiceNow. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities and features. * Work closely with IT project management team to deliver solutions on time and within budget. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 5+ years of professional experience or master’s degree in computer science with 3+ years of professional experience or equivalent experience * Object Oriented Programming experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript etc. * Experience with REST APIs or other relevant web technologies such as JSON, HTML etc. Preferred Qualifications * Understanding of IT Asset Lifecycle Management * Certifications in ServiceNow Application Development, System Administration, or Implementation Specialist are a plus. * Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. \#WeAreCisco #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
