We're looking for a engineer to join our team to help us extend our Infrastructure DNS/Routing team at Oracle-NetSuite in Brno. Being part of our team will give you an opportunity to have a direct and significant impact on the quality of our final product and the pace of delivery. Close cooperation with developers and test engineers from our team, and also other teams across the organisation, will be on a daily basis. In this role, your responsibilities will include investigating performance of both services and codebase. You will be part of implementation of verification cases and procedures to assure proper functionality and best possible quality of our services. You will help us modernize and improve robustness and performance of the overall product.

Work with latest industry technologiesCollaborate with one of leading cloud providers - OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and gain hands-on experience with technologies they provideBe part of new service environment builds and help on automation of the processCooperate on analysis and implementation related to adoption of new DNS solutionLeverage fast and flexible release cycleMaster analysis of globally distributed dataEnhance service monitoring and reportingEnsure test-ability of everything you do

 

What we require:

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (graduated within last 12 months or studies in progress)Experience with python, bashOpen mind for discussions and team collaborationGood writing and verbal communication skills in English are requiredBasic knowledge of Linux OS, DNS protocolWillingness to learn

 

Nice to have:

Understanding of cloud-based distributed software applicationsExperience with yaml, salt, BIND DNS serverExperience with Java (or similar OOP language)Hands-on experience with test automation and CI/CD - familiarity with TeamCity, GitLab and the like
