This position is hybrid and does require on-site reporting to Florence, KY at least 1x / week We are currently seeking both a Senior Front End Engineer and a Front End Engineer.

As a member of the engineering team, you will work closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other engineering team members to create and maintain tools and systems that drive day-to-day ecommerce and pharmacy operations.

Essential Job Functions Write high-quality, modular, and reusable front-end code using React Develop and support a high-quality codebase across public-facing and internal systems, help drive design discussions, implement creative and innovative solutions to-spec Collaborate on the technical design within a cross-functional team to support the strategic objectives of the company Contribute to the analysis of the technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Optimize application performance to ensure a smooth user experience Requirements Familiarity or experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, Vue.js, or similar Strong web fundamentals skills: HTML, CSS (SASS), JavaScript Experience optimizing front-end components for maximum flexibility, re-use, and performance across a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers Experience with version control systems such as Git Experience integrating with third-party services via REST / GraphQL APIs Strong written, oral, and presentation/public speaking communication skills Ability to work in a fast, agile, and flexible environment with frequent change Life-long learning mindset – always looking to experiment and continuously improve We would also prefer experience in the following: Automated testing – Jest, Enzyme, or similar. TypeScript. State management libraries such as Redux / Redux + Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Recoil, or similar. Container-based technologies such as Docker, Podman, or similar Mobile-first design. Accessibility design (WCAG) Charting libraries (d3.js) Deploying projects on major cloud providers: Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform Experience with Storybook - experience using Storybook to create reusable components in isolation and to test component variations 1+ years of hands-on experience building web-based software or including design patterns and code structure 1+ years of proven track record of designing and delivering large scale, high-quality systems
