Software Engineer - Guided Missile Frigate (FFG) Program Office
**Responsibilities** Noblis MSD is hiring a Software Engineer to support the Guided Missile Frigate (FFG) Program Office. The Software Engineer supports network architecture engineering for system certification and accreditation. They support the assessment, development and maintenance of a System of Systems Architecture Framework in accordance with requirements for the ashore or afloat platform baseline and provide assistance with system requirements for information assurance activities. Responsibilities: + Provide support for the risk management program, facilitating risk board meetings and assessments, and develop or maintain an interactive, web-accessible risk database. + Provide network architecture engineering support by reviewing, analyzing, and developing engineering documents for a network system, information system, and for system certification and accreditation (C&A). + Assess, develop and maintain a System of Systems (SoS) Architecture Framework in accordance with guidelines for the ashore or afloat platform baseline. + Review or develop a cybersecurity architecture for Frigate ashore and afloat platform SoS by evaluating design and developing protection profiles, boundary defense capability. + Review and assess SoS design, identify software vulnerability, and risk management to ensure cybersecurity and Frigate Mission requirements are satisfied. Identify deficiencies and issues and recommend mitigation solutions. + Follow all applicable DoD, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and Committee on National Security System Instruction (CNSSI) data security requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). + Provide Enterprise Application Accreditation and Cybersecurity support by reviewing and assessing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tool, and Network Mapper (Nmap). + Provide support for the Cybersecurity Test & Evaluation across all phases as defined in the DOD Cybersecurity T&E Guidebook. + Participate as directed in inspection of all IT systems after installation aboard a frigate and note discrepancies against approved build specifications and PARM system requirements. + Participate in Test & Trials to help determine functionality of IT systems before ship delivery as assigned and directed. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
