The Retail Planning team is looking for a Software Engineer well versed with Java and Python programming.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Focuses on learning the craft and how to work in a team productively, in particular: 

* Supports senior team members in designing, developing, and testing new algorithms, models, or solving approaches based on machine learning, operation research, or other techniques to solve a Blue Yonder business problem.

* Continuously improves themselves and the code they produce.

* Learns how to improve readability and maintainability of code.

* Guided by team members, contributes simple features and bug fixes and provides matching test cases.

* Participates in code reviews.

* Understands basic functional and technical requirements of software components.

* Assists in the operation of machine learning services through rolling out changes and handling service requests.

* Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Software: Java, Spring boot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuthApplication Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architectureCloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Spring boot, Gradle GIT, Ignite

What we are looking for: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, engineering (STEM preferred) and minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Software development is REQUIREDStrong programming experience and background in Enterprise Java and Python REQUIREDDemonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions (we use Azure) in AWS, Azure and or GCPDemonstrable experience with microservices based architecture on Cloud at scale.Experience with implementation of Event driven architecture using Kafka, Spark or similar technologies Hands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience; should not have moved away from software development Demonstrable experience, thorough knowledge and interests in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services, Multi-tenant SaaS solution and Cloud Scalability, performance and High availability preferably Azure and Azure services.Experience with API management platforms & providing / consuming RESTful APIsExperience working with Spring Webflux framework is a great plus.

salary range - $75K - $90K

 

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
