We’re looking for a Software Engineer I to join our ever evolving Enterprise Transaction Processing Authorizations team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

About the team

The Enterprise Transaction Processing team is responsible for authorizing and payment most of Worldpay’s U.S. based transactions

The Authorizations team in Enterprise Transaction Processing consists of 19 developers, most in the Cincinnati and Atlanta areas.

What you’ll own

Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements.

Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.

Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.

Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.)

What you bring

A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills

Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take

Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts

Willingly and successfully fulfills the role of teacher, mentor and coach
