As a Software Engineer II at Tanium, you will embark on an exciting new project integrating LLM technology into our reporting platform. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our services achieve top-tier performance, security, and scalability.
What You’ll Do:
Integrate existing products with LLM technologies to enhance user experience Utilize vector embeddings to build intuitive data navigation Work with server-side technologies, persistent data stores, caches, and messaging systems Create automated unit tests, API tests, and integration tests to ensure quality delivery Author technical documentation and artifacts for developed softwareWe’re Looking for Someone With:
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience CS Degree or related technical field preferredExperience
Eligible to obtain the FedRAMP security clearance 3-4 years industry experience Software development experience in Go (preferred), Node.js, Rust or Java Experience with LLMs Experience with cloud technologies (i.e., AWS and Azure) Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm Charts, CloudFormation)Other

What you’ll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $200,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
