This role offers the opportunity to help shape the development of API integrations and data processing pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS) that are at the heart of our software solutions. Our core challenges include:  How do we ingest large amounts of data and determine what has changed as quickly as possible?  How do we build processing capabilities and abstractions that support a common data ingestion process from vastly different types of software applications?    Your efforts will be crucial in revolutionizing how businesses harness and interpret vast amounts of workflow data, transforming it into actionable insights that drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.  What You'll Do In this role, you will   Contribute to the creation and refinement of integrations and data processing architectures that operate seamlessly with a diverse array of external tools, enhancing the way software is delivered across industries.   Support operational excellence by critically analyzing problems, defining requirements, and helping your team develop robust and innovative solutions.   Collaborate with and learn from a team of talented engineers, participating in a culture that values high ownership, attention to quality, and proactive problem-solving. Stay up to date with the latest technologies, continuously expanding your knowledge in cloud architectures, data processing, and advanced analytics, and applying this knowledge to contribute to your team's success.   What You'll Bring Who We Are Looking For   The ideal candidate is a professional with experience in cloud software development with a foundation in data processing and scalable software systems. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to architectural and design discussions, with a commitment to learning and improving best practices within the team. Preferred Qualifications Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:   2+ years of experience with Java, Scala, or other JVM programming languages, focusing on back-end systems and cloud-based technologies.  Experience with designing and implementing robust, scalable software systems.  Ability to engage in system design and architectural discussions and contribute to decision-making. Experience with AWS or any other popular cloud platform.     Other Beneficial Qualifications   Big data technologies such as Kafka, Amazon Redshift, and MongoDB. Continuous integration/deployment tooling such as GitHub, Jenkins, Travis CI, or others.   Proficiency in Test-Driven Development.   Containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.   Experience working in remote / distributed teams and projects.      Benefits at Planview At Planview, you’ll join our global team and culture which reflects the vibrant communities in which our employees live and work.
