This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Defining the technology strategy for the respective lines of businessManaging a team of developers both onshore and offshoreSoftware Engineer dedicated to Capital Markets Technology, with focus on building and managing end to end Capital Markets Deal execution initiativeCreating technology architecture for the applicationsManaging the deliverables and commitment to stability and operational excellencePerson will work closely with business and other technology stakeholders in a scaled Agile modelThe role also requires working on creating detailed design of the systemWorking with CTO to define the monitoring requirementsMentoring other senior developers, and making sure the team follows all technology best practices

Required Qualifications:

4+ years’ Experience building various financial applications, with experience in web development. Should have led and owned the delivery of applications using Angular, micro-services and messaging technologies4+ years’ Experience with building and leading project, on both client and server-side developmentShould have shown complete end to end ownership of application development and managementStrong knowledge of MuleSoftExtensive experience with Java and related technologiesStrong verbal and written communicationWell organized and detail orientedChampion in agile methodology and should be planful and willing to take calculated risksWorking experience on Containers is an asset

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$88,800.00 - $145,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
