We are seeking a Software Engineer who shall be responsible for developing client-side and server-side software to expand Arkouda's code base coverage of NumPy functionality as well as deliver performance and scalability enhancements to Arkouda. \n

Position requires an active TS\/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.\n
\n
Position Required Skills:\n\nExperience using the Linux CLI\nExperience developing Bash scripts\nExperience developing with C\/C++ in a Linux environment\nExperience developing with Python in a Linux environment\nExperience developing with Python's Pandas and NumPy software libraries\nWillingness to learn Chapel elements of the Arkouda software package (NumPy-like arrays at massive scale backed by Chapel)\nExperience with multiple file formats including HDF5 and Parquet\nExperience documenting detailed system designs\nExperience with Git source code repository\nFamiliarity with GitHub and open-source software development.\n\n

Position Desired Skills: \n\nFamiliar with the Chapel programming language\nExperience developing with Jupyter Notebook\nGeneral HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).\n\n

Qualifications:\n
Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\n
OR\n
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\n
OR\n
Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\n

The salary range for this position is based on contracted rates. The position is eligible to participate in our discretionary bonus program.
