About the team
Worldpay, LLC seeks Software Engineer II in Cincinnati, OH to Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives.
What you will be doing
The Software Engineer II will interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Additionally, the role will:
Communicate with clients on systems application.Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs where the code used must be in core version of applications which will be available for sale commercially.Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.Participate in software design meetings and will analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.Communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:
utilizing java including working with Object Oriented Design concept;assisting in architectural design and code management;writing unit tests and integration; creating and maintaining CI/CD pipeline jobs;analyzing and understanding existing programs, job flows and components;providing BRO (Build, Release and Ownership) support including on rota duty for service support; working with multi-threading design;providing support in regular production deployment cadence;utilizing systems development life cycle to ensure lean SDLC standard is followed;providing support to ensure service is security compliance.Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.What we offer you
