The InControl for Commercial Payments (ICCP) platform is a fundamental part of Mastercard's Commercial Solutions, enabling some of our largest customers to issue Virtual Cards to securely manage and report on Travel, Expense & Supplier transactions. Focused on secure, highly available and innovative solutions, this dynamic team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base.
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to work with our cross-functional development teams within the Virtual Cards, Spend Controls & Alerts program organization.
Role
•\tProactive software engineer for a world class distributed agile development team in the commercial virtual payments space.
•\tDesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our platform/application.
•\tManage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
•\tContribute to the team and wider platform on a daily basis.
•\tEnsure the final product is highly performant, responsive, and of the highest quality.
•\tActively participate in agile ceremonies including daily scrum, story pointing, story elaboration, and retrospectives.

•\tExperienced developer \t
•\tProven experience building world class solutions on a global scale.
•\tExperience working in an agile environment and actively contributing to discussions at retrospectives/elaboration sessions.
•\tSolid experience with RESTful APIs and JSON/SOAP based API with Java.
•\tKnowledge of cloud native development such as cloud foundry, AWS, etc.
•\tMust be detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
•\tMust provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
•\tStrong communication skills -- both verbal and written – with strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
•\tAbility to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team
Education
•\tBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge / Experience
•\tThorough knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
•\tMust demonstrate Mastercard Leadership Principles.
•\t2 to 3 years of experience in software engineering field.
