Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges
When you work at Honeywell, you are a member of a global team\nof thinkers, innovators, dreamers, and doers who make the things that make the\nfuture. That means changing the way we fly, fueling jets in an eco-friendly\nway, keeping buildings smart and safe and even making it possible to breathe on\nMars.
The future is what you make it.
Honeywell Aerospace Technologies has been\na leading provider of Navigation, Display systems, Flight Controls and Flight\nManagement Systems, developing a broad and scalable portfolio of hardware and\nsoftware products that provide differentiation and value for a wide range of\naircraft configurations. Honeywell continues to lead the industry with Advanced\nCockpit solutions and Integrated Avionics systems.
Honeywell’s newest and most advanced Integrated Flight\nDeck will herald a new age of aviation where connectivity will help enable\ntrue autonomy.
Honeywell’s Anthem™️ is the Aviation Industry's 1st\nCloud-Connected \"always-on\" Integrated Cockpit system, featuring\ncloud-native communications, navigation, and surveillance systems, powered by a\nflexible software platform that can be customized for virtually every type of\naircraft, from passenger planes and business aircraft to defense, general\naviation and the rapidly emerging class of Advanced Air-Mobility (AAM)\nvehicles.
Honeywell's Anthem™️ is breaking new ground in Avionics design\nand the pilot-machine interface, with the goal of making pilots’ jobs easier\nand safer and essentially allowing pilots to configure their own cockpit based\non mission and phase of flight.
Are you ready to help us make the future?
Become a part of Honeywell’s innovation and technological\nadvancement of Avionics technologies from Commercial, Business Jet, to\nAutonomous Flight/Urban Air Mobility platforms, as we grow our Tools team\nwhich is a crucial part of operationalizing Anthem for our customers.
As a Software Engineer II, this critical role will be\nassociated with developing a tool suite for the Anthem cockpit\noperationalization. At the outset, the Software Engineer II will be responsible\nfor the design, development and delivery of a qualified checker tool. This\nchecker tool will be built to validate outputs of “Harmonic”, a tool which will\nbe used to generate the configuration data of entire Anthem configuration for a\ncustomer.
Configuration files, output from the Harmonic tool suite, are\nloadable parts with an associated part number, included in the final aircraft\nbuild, and make up a portion of the TSO data at both the functional and\naircraft level. As such, all configuration files must be verified for\ncorrectness through use of qualified tooling. The sheer number of configuration\nparameters, quantity of associated attributes, and complexity in determining\ncorrectness of data within these files requires automation through use of a\nchecker tool, and therefore tool qualification under the objectives of DO-330.
