We are looking for a Software Engineer II who is passionate about solving large business optimization problems at scale. If you are comfortable working in a start-up environment, enjoy building a well-defined long-term architecture, and have interest in solving business problems with technology, then this could be the position for you. **Responsibilities** As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for the following: + Collaborate closely with partner teams across Microsoft to deliver key planning solutions and the technology to support them. + Help design and implement the future architecture for highly scalable, durable, low latency capacity planning system. + Help gather and define requirements, KPIs, priorities and planning of engineering deliverables. + Deliver well-tested features across 10+ services and other components. + Maintain services as they scale. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience. + 2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining REST microservices using NoSQL storage. **Other Requirements:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
