Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + Apply advanced engineering techniques and machine learning solutions to address complex location inference, geospatial, and mapping challenges in production environments. + Work across different technology stacks, including processing large-scale data, ranking, and building inferences and services to enhance location-based features. + Engage closely with stakeholders and partner teams to gather requirements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality location services that meet user needs. + Identify dependencies and develop design documents with minimal oversight, contributing to the architectural and design aspects of product areas. + Create, implement, and optimize code for products, services, or features, reusing existing code where applicable and ensuring maintainability and extensibility. + Break down larger work items into smaller, manageable tasks, provide accurate estimates, and contribute to project planning and execution. + Develop and automate monitoring tools to track system performance, promptly address issues related to degradation or downtime, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of services. Stay up to date with industry trends to continuously enhance system observability and performance. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field + Experience in software design and development with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, Python. + Solid algorithm and data analytical background with very good understanding on how to apply advanced knowledge to solve real world problems. **Other Requirements:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
