We are looking for a mobile app deployment engineer to join our Digital Internet Solutions Development team that installs, and supports internet banking used by banks and credit unions running on Jack Henry’s digital platforms. Software Engineers are constantly keeping our apps up to date with the newest development practices to offer exciting user experiences for highly secured data. Although you will work in a team, you have to be self-motivated and able to work with independence. To be successful, you need to care deeply about your work, your team, and the end user.
This position will be filled to work Remotely within the U.S.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Participates in product technical design and prototyping, mobile tool development, bug verification and resolution. May perform system analysis and programming activities which may require research and timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production. With assistance, provides technical/engineering support for new and existing deployments from code delivery until the retirement of the application. With assistance, tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices. Uses best practices and standard guidance to create and modify routine, low impact code. Collaboratively works with the implementation team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Works with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. May participate in critical tasks and deliverables with assistance, and sets and updates expectations on size, scope, and timelines. Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Conducts unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of deployed software. Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions.What you’ll need to have: (changing to job code- 42042- Eng III)
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mobile application deployment. Minimum 1 year of experience with iOS and Android deployment. Ability to travel up to 5% to attend JH meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.What would be nice for you to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
