The Purview Data Governance team’s mission is to deliver a market leading solution for enterprise data management, discovery, understanding, and access. The customer personas served by Purview Data Governance include the enterprise data office, enterprise-wide data owners and data stewards, and enterprise-wide data consumers across all organizational functions. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Software Engineer II to join us in our mission of building a market-leading SaaS product for enterprise data governance for our customers. **Responsibilities**
• Designed and developed web applications using ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
• Proficient in ReactJS, Redux, React Hooks, and building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Strong focus on UX/UI principles: responsive design, accessibility (a11y), and performance optimization.
• Experienced in creating interactive UIs with state management, dynamic components, and smooth navigation. • Skilled in integrating RESTful APIs, handling asynchronous data, and optimizing user interactions for better performance.
• Implemented reusable UI components and design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms.
• Utilized modern ReactJS libraries like React Router, Material-UI, and styled-components to enhance UI/UX.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, version control with Git, and AWS services like Lambda for cloud integration.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications** :
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 1+ years of experience in single page web app UX development in TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Redux/Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX/REST API/JSON handling.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
