Please note that for this position, candidates must be located in Brazil. **Software Engineer II** The Software Engineer II is responsible for coding, testing, and implementing solutions for Accruent’s Platform. As a Software Engineer II, you will be critical in developing robust and scalable shared services using .NET (C#) and React (when applicable) and related technologies. Your primary focus will be designing and implementing backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our applications' high performance and responsiveness. **How You'll Make a Difference** + Design and implement reusable and efficient backend services. + Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement innovative solutions. + Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. + Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues. + Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to backend and front-end development. + Collaborate with the QA team to perform code reviews and ensure high code quality and software reliability. + Develop user-friendly web applications using React.js and related frameworks, libraries, and tools. + Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. + Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, task estimation, and regular team meetings. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative work environment. **What You Bring To The Table** + Fluent/Advanced English skills. + A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). + Experience as a professional software developer. + Solid understanding and experience with Test Driven Development. + Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on modern design patterns. + Experience with .NET Framework 3.5 and the latest MS Visual Studio tools. + Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies. + Experience with front-end frameworks such as Redux, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus. + Experience with RDBMS products like Oracle or SQL Server. + Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in a timely manner. + Excellent communication in English and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket). + Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum) is preferred. **Additional Skills (Good to Have)** + Experience with Azure Cloud services. + Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. + Familiarity with identity and access management tools like Okta. + Experience with API Management (APIM) solutions. + Knowledge of Spacelift for CI/CD automation. + Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible. + Experience with AI and Prompt Engineering. + Familiarity with GitHub Copilot. \#LI-PB1 #LI-Remote **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
