About the Role
 

As a Software Engineer at LexisNexis Reed Technologies, you will contribute to new product development. As a Software Engineer III, you will design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and scalability. Your expertise will drive innovation and contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities
 

Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirementsWriting and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexityWorking closely with other Development team members to understand Product Requirements and translate them into Software designsImplementing development processes, coding best practices and code reviewsOperating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholdersCompleting bug fixes and resolving technical issuesAbility to solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.

Requirements
 

Experience in C# (required), other development languages are a bonus (such as Angular/React, JavaScript, C/C++, HTML, XML)Demonstrate understanding of .NET (.NET 8 experience preferred)Experience and ability to work with data modeling and data storage subsystemsExperience and ability to work with data manipulation languages such as SQLFamiliarity of industry best practices — unit-testing, code coverageAbility to work well with internal and external technology resourcesAbility to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
