What you'll do...

Position: Software Engineer III

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Gather technical requirements and create Jira user stories. Conduct web automations with the Test Cafe framework using TypeScript. Work on POM design patterns for the automation framework. Integrate GitHub code with Looper and Jenkins for CI/CD implementation. Integrate parallel test execution on the SauceLabs cloud services. Run and analyze Sanity, regression, and End-to-End (E2E) automation test cases prior to weekly deployments. Attend daily scrum meetings to provide updates about daily progress and blockers. Test Rest API user stories using Postman and automation using REST Assured. Work with the release management team to deploy the production version. Build Astro utils to support E2E team automation and framework support. Search for middleware log failures in Splunk application. Work with Jira for defect lifecycle. Share automation reports to leadership and managers. Work on defect testing and triage meetings to resolve the issues.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area. 

Skills required: Experience with TypeScript and Web Automation using Test-cafe framework. Experience using Node.JS API components to build robust automation framework and execute tests on SauceLabs. Experience using GitHub as a code repository. Experience using Jira for tracking user stories and defect management. Experience using Confluence for project related documentation. Experience testing REST APIs using Postman tool. Experience converting TypeScript to HTML report using HTML and CSS. Experience integrating automation batch run jobs with Jenkins. Experience using Splunk to retrieve failed middleware service logs. Experience using REST Assured library to create and automate APIs. Experience working on CI/CD pipelines to run tests for every stage of the software development lifecycle. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.   Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
