JOB DESCRIPTION:
Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve technical issues as necessary. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Complete bug fixes. Perform other duties as needed.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of experience, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations.Also required is:3 years of experience in: Java/J2EE/Javascript programming languages and corresponding Spring frameworks; and Software development lifecycle that include Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD) and quality tasks (code coverage analysis, code reviews, Unit tests).1 year of experience in: data storage subsystems (Oracle or SQL Server or Postgres) and SQL language; and Dockers, Kubernetes, Services in Azure, AWS or another cloud platform; and Agile methodology and continuous improvement (retrospective analysis, root cause analysis).Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL Inc. office in Boca Raton, FL, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.#LI-DNI
