JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform moderate to difficult research, design and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize architectural requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve technical issues as necessary, including completing moderately complex bug fixes to ensure system security/stability. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Perform other duties as needed.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.Also required is: 2 years of experience: using AZURE or AWS to build interactive web services and tools for back-end report generation while adhering to information security requirements and constraints; utilizing Perl and Python programming languages to extract meaningful insights from statistical, legislative, and regulatory data; building tailored XML and email data feeds to meet specific business requirements; utilizing React, CSS, HTML, Go, Python, and Graphql to develop secure and responsive web applications and back-end services; using DDL and DML with MySQL to construct comprehensive database tables that illustrate legal entities, documents, their associated attributes, and the connections among them; and in data engineering and data science to mine legislative and regulatory entities, identify topics and measures that interest customers, and classify legal information accurately and precisely.Employee reports to LexisNexis USA office in Minneapolis, MN, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.#LI-DNI
