**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
We are looking for a high-potential SE III Engineer with strong techno-functional expertise in supply chain. Knowledge of planning is a plus. As a Senior Engineer, you are thoughtful, aspirational, and skilled at understanding both business and technical requirements. You excel in defining low-level designs and implementing scalable solutions to achieve business outcomes.
We are seeking a candidate who brings:
+ A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
+ At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
+ 3+ years of experience with configuration and custom scripting languages.
+ Strong expertise in Supply Chain Platforms such as SAP, JDA, Oracle, or o9 solutions.
+ Proven experience in demand, supply, and planning landscape.
+ Hands-on experience as a data engineer across large-scale (1+ year) and smaller-scale (3+ months) projects.
+ Experience using Databricks to design and execute complex data workflows, process large-scale datasets, and collaborate on machine learning or business intelligence projects.
+ Proficiency in using analytics tools and languages such as Tableau, Sigma, SQL, R, VBA, Python, and PySpark to deliver actionable insights.
+ Proficiency in SAP APO configuration to meet business requirements.
+ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services to build resilient systems.
+ Skill in developing custom scripts, macros, and core solution designs to enhance user functionality.
+ Experience delivering full life-cycle solutions and working within Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe).
+ An agile mindset and experience working within agile frameworks.
**WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON**
As a key contributor, you will:
+ Big Data and Analytics
+ Work hands-on with big data technologies, including Snowflake, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and Apache Airflow.
+ Design and optimize scalable data pipelines using Databricks for processing large datasets and performing advanced analytics.
+ Leverage advanced SQL expertise (mandatory) to analyze and transform large datasets and complex data models.
+ Use analytics tools and languages like Tableau, Sigma, SQL, R, VBA, Python, and PySpark to deliver actionable insights.
+ Data Engineering and Architecture
+ Design and document scalable architectures to address Planning Business Community requirements.
+ Optimize data workflows through performance tuning and best practices in modern data engineering.
+ Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
+ Collaborate with data engineers and business partners to develop innovative and efficient solutions.
+ Cloud and Infrastructure
+ Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services to build resilient systems.
+ Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform.
+ Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitor production systems for reliability and performance.
+ Development and Customization
+ Develop custom product scripts using proprietary languages of implemented tools.
+ Build solutions tailored to meet business requirements and deliver value to stakeholders.
+ Collaboration and Methodologies
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business partners, to deliver impactful solutions.
+ Apply Agile principles and methodologies to manage projects and deliver results efficiently.
+ Problem-Solving and Innovation
+ Tackle complex challenges with a problem-solving mindset and create innovative solutions to support business growth.
**WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH**
+ Collaborate with Technical Product Managers, Lead engineers and team members to understand requirements, design and quality aspects.
+ Ensure full context and understanding of customers and business requirements to create valuable solutions.
+ Help build an effective team and partnership with stakeholders.
+ Establish trust and build strong and effective partnership with technical leaders and architects in various functions across regions/global locations
