Your technical duties involve aiding in the development and integration of 3rd party software into an evolving system for test and demonstration.

The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities:

Interpret customer requirements related to evaluation and demonstration of emerging technologiesImprove the fidelity of simulated customer platformsWork in an agile, collaborative, and open environment with a focus on interoperable systemsDevelop connections with industry and government teamsGuide industry partners in modification of their technologies to integrate with customer systemsCreate demonstration and transition plans for industry partner capabilities

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experienceHigher education may substitute for relevant experienceUnderstanding of Computer Aided Engineering toolsPractical knowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience working in multi-disciplinary teamsExperience with integration and deployment of distributed software systemsCurrent/active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with DoD-focused open architecture specifications like VITA 49, MORA, or OMSUnderstanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C++, HTML, Java, Javascript , Python, Rust, and BashExperience with embedded software developmentFamiliarity with Digital Signal Processing techniques, especial radar signal processingDeveloping software and deployment configuration for KubernetesWriting software that meets DISA security guidelines
