Process Overview:
Global Banking and Markets Technology (GBAMT) comprises of technology for Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking Customers of Bank of America across the globe. The teams’ works closely with business and strategic partners to architect design and develop applications for the Global Wholesale Banking Line of Business.
Job Description:
The individual will be responsible for developing and supporting PEGA based applications. The ideal candidate would be someone who can collaborate easily and effectively with a large set of stakeholders, has the required hands-on technical skills to help mentor the team, and ability to come up with innovative solutions. The solutions are targeted towards Fulfillment and Servicing Applications
Responsibilities
Analyze, design, code, test and implement application enhancements and provide product support by meeting defined scope, timelineDebug code to locate reported bugs and issuesMaintain high standard and follow best practices by re-factor existing code to enhance readability, performance and general structureCreate POC to demonstrate capabilities and implementation optionsProvide Level 3 support for application issues raised that need to be debugged at a code levelCollaborate with Customers, Business Analysts, Partners and IT Team Members to understand business requirements and design quality technical solutions.Provide innovative solutions to business needs.Provide required technical support, including release implementations.Communicate project status with stakeholders and conduct/assist technical walkthroughsWork with development need on need basis.Requirements
Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
Certifications If Any: NA
Experience Range: 10-15 yrs
Foundational Skills:
10 to 15 years of experience.Experience in Pega PRPC -Process Flows, Activities, Harness, Sections, Decision Table, Data transforms, Agent and activity, Reporting etc.Should have CSA certification.Should have hands on experience in design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills in PEGA 7.Understanding of PRPC flows, decisions and rulesAbility to monitor logs to ensure health of PRPC applications, monitor and leverage PRPC tools to diagnose and analyze performance issues.Good experience in trouble shooting Pega applications logsExperience in adopting pega applications with CICD toolsExperience in Pega Open Span (RPA) , Case Management, Client Life cycle Management(CLM) – will be a plusKnowledgeable in Performance Tuning and Deployment processKnowledge of IT standards, methodologies, system development life cycle and project management frameworksDesired skills:
