Ideally, you are a recent university graduate and have foundational knowledge of programming from the Java application stack, through database SQL, REST-based APIs, to JavaScript frontend. The NetSuite solution is written in Java with Oracle DB as the main persistence layer. The UI uses internal JavaScript framework.
The platform at NetSuite allows developers, partners and customers to build powerful solutions on top of the core NetSuite ERP system. It supports a wide-variety of features, such as allowing users to customization of data model, business logic, and automatization through custom scripts, to create complex workflows, configure access model, integrations and many others.
As a member of specialized platform team you will be participating on development and maintenance of Access Control backend frameworks and related User interfaces for their configuration. Most of the development work, though, is done on the backend. We collaborate closely with other functional teams, to ensure that our product meets the diverse needs of businesses across various domains.

This role is for someone who wants to be involved with all phases of the development process:
specification, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. In our teams, you will learn not only about the software, but also about the business and our customers. We'd like you to be passionate about clean code, quality, and SOLID principles. Our team ensures that all junior software engineers receive continuing education and mentorship daily. Ideal Qualifications
Interest in software development and problem solving. Computer Science degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Experience with Java or any similar object-oriented programming language with the ability to write programs and apply OOP principles. Natural problem-solving skills and the ability to work on functional requirements. Communication abilities in both technical and non-technical contexts.
