In this role, you will work with team of engineers who are responsible for the design, development, and support of all services that compose FactSet’s Customer Identity and Access Management solution. The IAM solution includes services that store customer identities, authenticate users and workloads, authorize requests, and propagate internal identity tokens between hundreds of microservices. These core services are ubiquitous – used by all FactSet customers, applications, services, and engineers. You’ll have a large impact on the success of the entire organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Computer Science or a related technical field
3+ years’ experience programming in Java or another OOP language
Built services using a relational database (e.g. MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Basic knowledge of cloud technologies(AWS/Azure etc)
Willing to participate in on-call rotation
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build mission critical IAM services, primarily in Java
Develop and support large-scale, global systems
Work with AWS and on-premise systems to deploy services
Develop and maintain current and future state IAM documentation and standards
Learn about the errors and incidents in production while participating in the on-call rotation
You may be a good fit for this role if you have:
Knowledge and experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect & SAML
Implemented role-based access control systems in large distributed environment.
Written RESTful HTTP APIs
A strong understanding of browser functionality (e.g. Cookies, CORS).
