The Red Hat Engineering team is looking for a developer to join us as a Software Engineer in our growing Accelerator team to build the GPU/Accelerator infrastructure that supports AI/ML and GPU compute hardware. In this role, you will help build, support, develop and maintain the GPU and Accelerator-related components on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Your primary responsibility will be integrating Linux kernel drivers for our layered products such as RHEL AI and Red Hat OpenShift AI. You will be part of our GPU and Accelerators organization that integrates hardware support for the components throughout the AI/ML stack.
What you will do:
Build, support, develop and maintain the GPU/Accelerator infrastructure and device drivers for AI/ML and GPU compute workloads
Work closely with key stakeholders within Red Hat who will use the infrastructure you integrate to accelerate AI/ML frameworks
Triage and fix Triage and fix GPU/Accelerator driver and infrastructure issues issues
Develop functional and regression test cases
What you will bring:Proficient in C, C++ and Python languages
Familiarity with Linux kernel development
Familiarity with the internals of the accelerators frameworks, such as oneAPI, ROCm or CUDA
Strong English written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Nice to have SkillsExperience with accelerators APIs and frameworks such as ROCm, Intel One API, CUDA, OpenCL, etc.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch.
Experience with containers building systems, and container tooling such as Docker, Podman, etc.
Experience with agile principles and tools (Jira, Confluence or similar technologies).
