Software Engineer (Mainframe) Job Ref #: 988974

Concentrix CVG Customer Management Group Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Engineer (Mainframe). Work may be performed in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. depending on specific project needs. Travel and/or relocation may be required. Telecommuting may be permitted.

The Software Engineer will conduct testing of completed applications, websites and software to assess user experience; Collaborate with UI developers and programmers to improve usability; Develop new features for evolving products and platforms; Ensure on-time and high-quality product delivery; Develop and execute unit tests and support functional, non-functional testing; Prepare and release products through non-production and production environments; Support new products through deployment lifecycle.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or any technical/analytical field that is closely related to the specialty, plus five (5) years of experience in the same or similar IT/Computer-related field. Required experience must include working with: mainframe technologies including COBOL, DG2, CICS, and JCL. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required for this position (no visa sponsorship available).

The base salary range for this position is $130,541- $137,186, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
