We are seeking a talented Software Developer to support the continued development and program roll out of the Advanced Rapid Integration Simulation Environment (ARISE) Analytics platform.



What You Will Be Doing

The ARISE Analytics - Platform team is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Software Engineer Stf, Platform to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the underlying platforms that enable our developers to build, deploy, and manage applications efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and meet the evolving needs of our business. The ARISE Analytics team works closely with A/AI Research engineers, so a working understanding of Machine Learning principles is desirable.

Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance. Must be a US Citizen.

• Experience in software development, DevOps, or a related field

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++

• Advanced understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Deep understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps concepts, such as Continuous Delivery and Observability

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills:
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes

• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks, such as NIST or OWASP

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools, such as AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI

• Certification in cloud computing, DevOps, or a related field (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
